Our Story

First things first, It’s pronounced “Koo-Dah-Graw” and stands for The Killing Blow. Our company was founded by a United States Marine. The professional warrior ethos of America’s elite military units is the driving force behind the products we design and the brand that we’re building.

Centuries ago the phrase “The Killing Blow” was also known as the Blow of Grace. When an opponent was vanquished and lying mortally wounded on the battlefield, the killing blow was the decisive finishing act.

In the modern world of sports, every contest has a killing blow. In baseball it might be the walk-off homerun to win the game. In soccer – the goal that wins the game in overtime. In MMA, it’s the submission move that causes the other person to tap out. And in surfing – a perfect score on the last wave of the heat.

Victory in any contest or endeavor is never given. It must be taken. At KUDAGRA, we believe that the only reputation that counts is the one you earn on the field.

What We aren’t

KUDAGRA is NOT about talking before the game even begins, taunting the opposing team, or disrespecting opponents. There are plenty of sports brands that celebrate this type of behavior, but we are not one of them.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes to make them possible.
